The Trucking Network hosted the Mega Job Fair, held at the Canadian Convention Centre in Brampton on Saturday September 24, 2016.
The event caters to the growing driver community enabling drivers to explore career opportunities within a variety of local and regional companies at one location in trucking industry.
In addition to the creature comforts of a beautiful venue, coffee and snacks on hand, drivers are presented with the cream of the crop of carrier exhibitors and transportation subject matter experts to gain better understanding of what is available on the market for them.
Drivers are able to approach the carriers that interest them, and are eligible to win goodies including LCD flat-screens and iPads as in previous event prize draws. Once the Mega Job Fair finishes at 4pm, the networking event dance is held at the same venue. A nice change from the regular job fair events that offer recruitment to driver candidates.
In addition to supporting the fairly large and expanding community of South Asian and Punjabi drivers, the Trucking Network continues to garner support from the transportation community, hosting several events each year and expanding its market across Canada.
